Don’t be anxious for tomorrow

(Mt. 6:34) “Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient.”

Note that Jesus does not say “don’t do planning for the future” as some may interpret.

Not to be anxious for tomorrow means not to do short term planning (“tomorrow”) in expense of long term planning, but to concentrate on long-term goals. This may mean to invest into education, science, charity, etc.
